Well I have started a new project that I will hope to have pictures up sometime later this week. Two inches is not far enough into the pattern yet to get a good look at it. I am using yarn that I bought from a local alpaca farm called Till Farms. It's 84% Alpaca and 16% Merino wool that is variegated purple, green and blue. The trellis patterning gives a nice stripped, patchwork feel to the coloration since the pattern moves 'weaves' itself back and forth' I am not necessarily looking forward to blocking this piece because of its length but it will most definitely have to be done since it is curling quite bad. I love my mom for allowing me to borrow her steam iron.
My friend Liz who can be found here on Blogspot at: http://lizseelye.blogspot.com/
Has done this same shawl pattern and it came out lovely. We are going to block her shawl tomorrow.
