Went to Threadbender on Friday curious to see if they had gotten a shipment of Marble Chunky in so I could continue my work on my dad's Einstein Coat, alas the did not but I found something else that I have been waiting for...beads! Lots and lots of wonderful beads to knit with!
I bought a skein of Claudia Hand Painted Yarns, which is a fingering weight yarn made out of merino wool. The color I have chosen is sunrise and the beads are a lovely mix of pinks. I have some ideas on how to make up a new pattern for a beaded scarf and I have enough yarn and beads left over from my first beaded scarf to try out a tester.
I plan on finishing up my pair of magic scarves first before trying to tackle the beaded project.

Well even without a picture I am pretty sure what Jess this is. Wanted to stop in and thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am pretty happy with my knitting, the correct way for the first time ever. My dear oldest daughter was suppose to teach me but alas she never did. :( But that is ok now I'll practice and get her to help me when I can move on to something a little more than Knit and Pearl.
