Planes and Knitting

Well this will make a nice first post to my knitting blog here. Today was the day that I left for Florida for my vacation and I started a new project. Not necessarily the project that I was going to start but there was not much I could be done about it since well I forgot my scissors the rest of my knitting goods, well besides the yarn and needles. So well I brought my copy of Crazy Aunt Purl's Drunk, Divorced & Covered in Cat Hair and I leafed through the patterns. I decided to give pattern for the Magic Scarf a try. So far I have found it quite fun and well it would give me a chance to get rid of a skein of stash yarn that I had no idea what to do with. Red Heart is not necessarily my favorite yarn to work with but it seems to behaving quite well so far.

Though the pattern has given me a few ideas to try once I get home with other yarns. So I guess we will have to see what happens.

PS. I really need to update the images on my ralvery account!

  1. Yeah up dated pictures are always good... hopefully we get to see some pictures of things here as well. Crazy Aunt Purl's is a fun book, even though I have not had the opportunity to check it over myself. I would be interested in see what you recommend for books for knitting up here as well, both fiction with knitting in it and pattern books. Just all else I can say is enjoy it. And hope you are having fun.
